Anyway, I just wanted to show you the adorable cakes from the baby showers people were so nice to throw. This one below is from my coworkers, who actually created a bassinet for the top made out of ding dongs and twinkies. Isn't it so cute?!?! Who knew it would end up to serve as a great object lesson when we were asked to substitute teach the five year olds in church the next Sunday!!
Then at the Lacey shower, the all amazing and talented Jenn make a "cake" out of diapers and receiving blankets. If you aren't wowed enough just from this picture, please click on it and zoom in to see her impressive handiwork. I really hated taking it apart, but it turned into four whole shoeboxes worth of diapers!! Those are going to be needed (hopefully very soon).
My adorable niece Jadyn was more attracted to the flowers on the cake than the diapers and promptly requested they be used in her hair and proceeded to pose. I just had to share the cuteness!

That diaper cake is Gorgeous! I Love making things that are useful! And that one looks so elegant. Sorry I couldn't make the party, I was meaning to call and let you know, but my pregnant brain kept forgetting until I saw this post. Sorry :( Anyways, we are anxiously awaiting the news and pictures of your little arrival. Justin and Elise just had their baby on Sunday, and Monique is going to be induced on Thursday. So many cute babies! And I still have 6 weeks left. Hopefully it will go by quick. I am glad you aren't sitting around being sad. It always seems to go longer when that happends. Addison was 2 days late, but like everyone always says, they will come on their own schedule, not yours! Hope you are feeling well!
I keep checking hoping to see baby pictures. I'm sure she is going to make her entrance soon. Just getting in her beauty sleep so she can be at her best for her arrival I'm sure. Good luck!

Happy Baby Shower! Hopefully she gets here soon, it's always hardest at the end when all you can do is wait. She'll be here before you know it and pretty soon you'll be celebrating her birthday wondering where the time went. Good luck!
